Description: Australians are closely linked to the sea. Our oceans and waterways have influenced our development and who we are as a nation. The ANMM is the only national museum located outside Canberra. Virtual Excursions provides the museum with the ability to connect with students from all over Australia and the world. Our curriculum-based programs are written and facilitated by experienced educators. The engaging, interactive, adaptive programs are suitable for students K-12, cover a variety of key curriculum areas and are responsive to the needs of the students.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be advised by email to bookings@anmm.gov.au At least one week’s notice is required. Cancellations outside this time frame, and no-shows on the day will be charged at 100% of the program cost.
Online Learning Resources
Explore newly developed series of online resources for students, teachers and parents, to help guide students’ learning while they’re away from the classroom. With subjects suitable for Early, Primary and Secondary learners, these resources have been created to engage students and guide further activity on the topics.
