SciFest 2024 is a celebration of science through a series of free online events open to all for National Science Week. The live virtual events are delivered in a webinar format to retain interactivity and enable two-way participation. Content is sourced from the network of Virtual Excursions Australia members, our leading science, environmental and research institutions. The virtual events target a range of audiences through a series of engaging formats including lunchtime trivia, live science shows, panels on careers in STEM for students and afternoon science shows for the whole family.
This festival of online learning provides an opportunity for you to connect with exciting science, experts and experiments without leaving your classroom or home. SciFest topics, dates and times will vary throughout the festival to provide variety and flexibility. there is something for everyone.
SciFest 2024 was the biggest virtual excursions festival in Australia promoting science and technology. SciFest links up with National Science week and was on between 12 – 16 August. This year we had 17 events from some of Australia’s best education providers reaching 26,000 people across Australia.
