Bring the National Gallery into your classroom with our online workshops, designed to spark imaginations and deepen students’ understanding of art. Online Workshops are delivered live by artist educators and include making activities, creative learning strategies, facilitated discussions and the voices of artists.

Additional resources are available to use before or after your session. We tailor our programs to the year level of your class, your schedule and areas of interest, linking to a variety of curriculum connections.

Learning resources
Extend your online workshop experience with the National Gallery’s learning resources. Our learning resources includes inquiry questions, activities, audio and video components and active reflection. Teachers and students can use these resources to learn about artists and their works in the National Collection, and how the themes explored can relate to their own lives and practices. All our resources have cross-curriculum learning outcomes.
